When you donate your vehicle or boat, running/sailing, or not, to Bainbridge Island Senior Community & Center, you are helping us keep our mission and vision alive and well.

The dollars generated from your generosity will help us keep the lights on and our shared space a humming hotbed of activity for all! Activities of all kinds, classes, exercise, meditation, martial arts, book clubs, dancing, concerts, comedy, art exhibits, and just plain old, comforting coffee and conversations; it’s all at Bainbridge Island Senior Community & Center!

You may qualify for a tax deduction while supporting a cause that is near and dear to your heart. For boats, having your own trailer is strongly encouraged, but if you don’t have one, we may still be able to make it work! Case-by-case, so don’t give up the ship if you want to give up the ship. What are your Hours of Operation?

Vehicle Donation Call Center Hours:

What are the benefits of donating a vehicle or boat to a nonprofit like Bainbridge Island Senior & Community Center?

What do I need to donate my vehicle?

You will need a current and clear title. Any lien holder listed on the title must be cleared and/or released by the bank. This law varies by state.

What do I need to donate my boat?

Boat donations will be evaluated with photos provided by the donor. Photographs are requested because there is no scrap value for boat donations.

Does my boat need a trailer in order for the nonprofit to accept my boat?

Not in all cases. We can accept your vessel donations even while they are in their boat slips.
